Pilgrimage to Seattle

Today's adventures include preparing for our adventure to Seattle to sit in the presence of the Dalai Lama, which will be a challenging bit with a 3-year-old. Bringing the video iPod to entertain said 3-year-old doesn't seem sacrilegious at this point. How does one overcome the no bags/backpacks/containers issue when said 3-year-old still needs diapers, wipes, extra clothes? Sheesh. I suppose we'll manage. These are the hurdles? Sheesh on me.

The Sound Essence Project was able to procure tickets for all the group's members (yay, that's us!) and in connection with Seeds of Compassion www.seedsofcompassion.net (who brought the Dalai Lama to Seattle) has a youth art show entitled What Does Compassion Look Like? that will be displayed on www.whatdoescompassionlooklike.org. Pretty cool. And of course, there is www.soundessenceproject.org, the Sound Essence Project. Check it out! (I'll be back to report more after the event).
